Little People’s Montessori provides a safe and prepared environment in which we follow the individual child and where children are able to have freedom of choice within limits.  Little People’s Montessori promises to provide an individual learning experience for your unique child. He or she will be provided with materials which will stimulate every sense and make your child more determined in their self-driven quest for knowledge. Children will be supported and cared for based on their individual needs.

 

The directresses and/or directors of Little People’s Montessori are not “teachers” but instead guides, who will encourage your child to take that next step but will never force them. Every child will be learning through concrete experiences which will prepare them for abstract concepts later in life.

 

Each child is an individual who will be treated as such. We will never compare the rates of development amongst our children.  At Little People’s Montessori we believe that children’s learning is directly influenced by child development. A child will not learn until they are ready, and have been provided with an environment which is rich in experiences which allows for them to mature. The directresses/directors who are knowledgeable and sensitive, concern themselves with the sensitive periods every child experiences for the various developmental areas they will experience.
